YoungThicc69’s Recommendation Lists – A New Addition to Infinite Thiccness

This is just a brief announcement post to let you guys know about two new pages I’ve added to the Infinite Thiccness website: my Recommended Films List & Recommended Anime List. They’re fairly simple and straightforward, documenting every movie and anime that I would personally recommend to fans of the mediums. In order to appear on either list, I have to consider the film or anime at least a solid 8 out of 10. I plan to update these lists on a regular basis, and I may also add two additional recommendation lists for novels and comic books sometime in the near future. You can think of this as a replacement for my What I’ve Been Watching/Reading series, which I decided to discontinue at the end of last year because, quite frankly, they were becoming a drag and a bore to write, and I can’t imagine they were much fun to read, either.

In other news, I’m currently working on a detailed analysis of Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, so stay tuned and look forward to that. Well, that’s all for now.

The Top 5 Best Anime I Saw In 2017

My overall consumption of anime in 2017, in comparison to previous years, was a little lackluster. I was so focused on expanding my horizons in the world of live-action films that I completely fell behind when it came to anime. There are numerous shows I’ve talked about in my What I’ve Been Watching/Reading series over the past several months but still haven’t finished. Hopefully, I’ll put a stop to all of that nonsense in 2018. Hopefully.  Continue reading

The Top 5 Best Movies I Saw In 2017

2017 was an incredible year for my personal journey through the world of cinema. I originally planned to make this a top 10 list, but I saw so many great movies this year that deciding numbers 6 through 10 was an exercise in futility. Choosing my top 5, on the other hand, was a piece of cake. These 5 films are all truly special to me–they’re the kind of films that I’ll be re-watching over and over again until the day I die. What I’ve Been Watching/Reading – December 2017

Merry Belated Christmas and Happy Fucking New Year, you loathsome bastards. Tired of me posting nothing but What I’ve Been Watching/Reading posts? Well, don’t you worry–I’ve got a couple of Top 5 lists in the works that should be finished during the first week of February. Plus, I’ve made it a New Year’s goal (I call them ‘goals’ because ‘resolutions’ are for normies) to write at least twice as many blog posts as I did last year. Considering that I started the blog about halfway through the year, that shouldn’t be a very difficult thing to do, but I digress. I’m in my last semester of high school right now, so it’s about time I stop being an indolent clod and shape the hell up. That goes for all aspects of my life, including this shitty blog. Prepare yourselves, because 2018 is about to be the Year of Thiccness, whatever that might entail. But for now, I present to you the list of What I’ve Been Watching/Reading in December of 2017Continue reading

What I’ve Been Watching/Reading – November 2017

I’ve run out of ideas on how to start these monthly posts, and I don’t feel like putting forth any actual effort. Besides, this post is already long overdue–December is pretty much over and I’m still stuck talking about November. Well, fuck it–this is What I’ve Been Watching/Reading in November of 2017Continue reading

What I’ve Been Watching/Reading – October 2017

It’s time to get spooky, boys and girls. Halloween is one of my favorite times of year: vampires, werewolves, skeletons, zombies, and an unhealthy amount of pumpkin-spiced coffee–honestly, how can you go wrong? To celebrate this most spooktacular holiday, I’ve dedicated a majority of my free time this month to the horror genre and other Halloween-themed media. Without further delay, it’s time to let the spooky shenanigans begin, and to talk about What I’ve Been Watching/Reading in October of 2017Continue reading

What I’ve Been Watching/Reading – September 2017

It seems like time has been flying by faster and faster lately. Graduating from high school was a far-off dream to me not too long ago, but now it’s right around the corner (well, 8 months from now to be exact). School might have slowed me down a bit these past two months, but I’ve still managed to keep watching and reading all of the things that I love and (when I’m not being indolent) talk about them on this blog in the meantime. With that said, this is the list of What I’ve Been Watching/Reading in  September of 2017Continue reading
